We Know How to Find the Best Kind of Plan to Focus on Your Needs

Medicare is a health coverage plan provided by the Federal Government for people over the age of 65 and others with certain health conditions. It is important to understand how Medicare works with all of its different parts so that you can determine the best approach for your care once you are eligible.

Part A Hospital Coverage - Part A covers inpatient hospital stays, care in a skilled nursing facility, hospice care, and some home health care.

Part B Doctor Coverage - Part B covers certain doctors' services, outpatient care, medical supplies, and preventive services.

Part C Medicare Advantage - Medicare Advantage is an “all in one” alternative to Original Medicare. These “bundled” plans include Part A, Part B, and usually Part D. Most plans offer extra benefits that Original Medicare doesn’t cover — like vision, hearing, dental, and more.

Part D Prescription Drugs - Helps cover the cost of prescription drugs (including many recommended shots or vaccines)

Medicare Supplement Plans - Original Medicare pays for much, but not all, of the cost for covered health care services and supplies. A Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) policy can help pay some of the remaining health care costs, like copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. Some Medigap policies also cover services that Original Medicare doesn't cover, like medical care when you travel outside the U.S.
